ACTA Ratings

2017:

The ACTA three member committee met on March  13, 2017 to evaluate ratings for players playing in the 2017 season.  All players with current USTA ratings were allowed to play at their USTA rating.  The exception to this rule the new “BC” division, where players will use at their Topdog rating (anyone over 3.75 Topdog will play as a “B” player).  Here are the players evaluated and their status:

Pedro Graber: Will assume a 5.0 rating, overriding his 5.5 USTA rating.  Obviously only playing in the “A” division.
Jamie Wise: Will assume a 4.5 rating and must play in the “A” division
Todd Stievater: Will assume a 4.5 rating and must play in the “A” division
Bob Stachoviak: Will retain a 4.0 rating and can play in the “B” division
Steve Myers : Will assume a 4.5 rating and must play in the “A” division
Sam Gousen:  Will assume a B rating in the “BC” division
Brian Levy:  Will assume a B rating in the “BC” division
Mai Ngo:  Will assume a B rating in the “BC” division

2014:

ACTA player 2014 rating analysis. The following players exceeded their topdog rating (shown in parenthesis) allowed in their division. So a committee was formed (people not at that level) to analyze the player’s matches and determine if they should be moved up to the next level….. All players whose USTA rating has changed will use that rating for 2014 play since that is an official rating.
