ACTA Annual Meeting & Social

March 14, 2014 | By

Join us for a King of the Court Round Robin and the social on Saturday March 29th at the Arlington Y! Help us kickoff the 2014 season!

Attendance is FREE for 2013 award winners and 2013 Captains and only $20 for everyone else!!! That’s $20 for over 3 hours of indoor tennis.

Come join the ACTA board for another fun social and our annual meeting on, March 29rd from 7pm-1130pm. There will be fun, food, drinks, and tennis all night as well as the much anticipated ACTA awards presentation for the 2013 season.

The King of the Court Doubles Round Robin will be spread across all 8 courts. Court 1 will be the top – King of the Court! Court 8 will be the starting court. Here’s how it works:

Winners move up or stay if on Court 1; Losers move down to the next court.
When you move, you switch partners whether you win or lose. If the winners stay on Court 1, they must split up and play against each other with one of the winners moving up from Court 2 as their partner.
Each round will be 30 minutes timed. When time is called, the team with the most games won or ahead in the current game is the winner. A sudden death point can be played to determine the winner.

No just captains, and ladder people who won an award (for example most improved). Players that just won a league are not eligible!
