2010 Charity Singles Tournament

Thanks to all who participated in the 3rd annual Arlington Charity Singles Tennis Tournament! Together we raised more than $3500 for three local charities:

Doorways for Women and Families
Arlington Food Assistance Center
Arlington – Alexandria Coalition For the Homeless

We owe a special thanks to the Arlington Tennis Factory, the Liberty Tavern, Lyon Hall and Arlington County who graciously donated balls, gift certificates, and court time so all the all registration fees can benefit the local charities. We appreciate their generosity greatly!

Match Winners

	After hours of play and a number of interruptions, Paul Smith and Kenny Day are still trying to figure out who won the finals of the men’s 4.0 division.
The women’s final was close but more decisive than the Men’s final with Rosie Gomez topping Jacquie Broussard 6-4, 6-4
	Robert Calinoiu defeated Bruce Nguyen 6-1, 6-4 in the men’s 3.5 finals.
Amy Tran (right) defeated Nina Keller in the women’s 3.5 finals.
	Brad Rogers and Raj Verma in the men’s 4.0+ consolation finals.
Julia Lerner edged out Deborah Koontz in the 4.0+ women’s consolation final 7-5, 7-6.
	Joy Taylor and Chandra Wan in the 3.5 women’s consolation finals
